Venture to Future Fund (VFF) has been established to fill the market gap in the field of providing capital and quasi-capital financing for small and medium-sized enterprises in Slovakia. Its main purpose is to further the innovative and technological potential of Slovak economy as part of its ongoing transformation from production-based into knowledge-based economy. The VFF applies a general departmental approach while focusing primarily on innovative and technological companies operating in Slovakia or having a direct capital link to Slovakia.
The VFF shall invest particularly into premium small and medium-sized enterprises at the stage of growth in order to help them fully materialize their potential on international markets. The investments shall be made hand in hand with independent co-investors on the pari-passu basis. Individual investors have endowed the VFF with funds totalling €40.4 million. The investors are:
