Slovak Investment Holding invests in Qres Technologies

Bratislava, May 27, 2019 - Slovak Investment Holding (SIH) will provide venture capital financing to Qres Technologies, a European innovator in development and production of large format digital UV printers.

SIH invests in the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Slovakia from European Structural and Investment Funds (ESIF). Its ambition is to improve access to finance for innovative and technological companies operating in various industries. The investment in Qres Technologies is sourced from the ESIF Operational Program for Research and Innovation and takes the form of a venture capital investment.

Qres Technologies aims to capitalize on the ongoing market transition from analogue to digital printing technology. “The transition is strengthening and is widespread in a number of industries. The investment from SIH is helping us in offering to our customers the opportunity to improve and innovate their production processes through the purchase of new professional printers,” states Lukas Torngren, CEO of Qres Technologies.

Digital UV printers can simplify the entire customer logistics cycle and achieve significant savings compared with traditional methods. At the same time, they offer customers a wide range of product completion options, including customized technology solutions.
