Poll on pandemic guarantees: quick and convenient loans were worth the complex documentation

Bratislava, April 14, 2022 - SIH's Anti-Corona Guarantee Programme is retrospectively rated positively. Entrepreneurs have been able to repay the loans, but not everyone has been able to maintain 100 percent employment and thus receive fee waivers or bonus interest subsidies. Entrepreneurs have already received more than € 1 billion through the State Loan Guarantee Programme. Under the condition of maintaining employment, companies have thus been able to obtain favourable financing to tide them over the pandemic period.

The guarantees were organised by Slovak Investment Holding (SIH) and the loans were intermediated by banks.
